Chair of Women’s Rugby World Cup England 2025 Gill Whithead has received the Order of the British Empire (OBE) and Managing Director Sarah Massey the Member of the British Empire (MBE) in the prestigious King’s New Year Honours List, for “services to women’s rugby”. The British honours list recognises those who have made an outstanding contribution to society.

The fourth of World Rugby’s Impact Beyond 2025 women’s health webinars will focus on nutrition for female rugby players. This session builds on the huge success of Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 and increased interest in the women’s game and is part of World Rugby’s Impact Beyond 2025 legacy programme around the tournament. It is part of a wider webinar series providing women and girls who play the sport with better awareness of health issues which often aren’t as openly discussed as they could be.
