Uruguay’s Eric Dosantos will appear before an independent Judicial Committee in Paris after he was cited for an act of foul play contrary to Law 9.13 (dangerous tackle) in Uruguay’s Rugby World Cup 2023 Pool A match against Namibia in Lyon on Wednesday, 27 September. The hearing will take place on Friday, 29 September.
The independent Judicial Committee that will hear the matter will be chaired by Jennifer Donovan (Ireland), joined by former player Stefan Terblanche (South Africa) and former referee Val Toma (Romania).
