Tonga’s Vaea Fifita will appear before an independent Judicial Committee in Paris on Tuesday, 26 September having received a red card, following a review by the Foul Play Review Official, in Tonga’s Rugby World Cup 2023 Pool B match against Scotland in Nice on Sunday, 24 September for an offence contrary to Law 9.20(a) (dangerous charging into ruck or maul).
The independent Judicial Committee that will hear the matter will be chaired by Brenda Heather-Latu (Samoa), joined by former international players Leon Lloyd (England) and Mike Mika (Samoa).
