Romania flanker Vlad Neculau will attend an independent disciplinary hearing after receiving a red card for an act of foul play contrary to Law 9.13 (dangerous tackle) in Romania’s test match against Italy on 1 July.

The player will attend a hearing via video link before an independent Judicial Committee chaired by Rhian Williams (Wales), joined by former international referee Donal Courtney (Ireland) and former international player Yannick Jauzion (France).  

The hearing will take place on Monday, 4 July.
