Colombia picked up two full rating points for their 18-10 victory over Kazakhstan in the semi-final of the Rugby World Cup 2021 Final Qualification Tournament.

Las Tucanes now have a rating of 44.66 points which puts them above Cameroon and into a record 25th place in the World Rugby Women's Rankings powered by Capgemini.

Kazakhstan, meanwhile, drop below Samoa and into 16th place as a result of the defeat.

The Asian side, who are now out of Rugby World Cup 2021 contention, would have fallen further had the Netherlands beaten Spain in the opening game of the Rugby Europe Women's Championship 2022.

As it was, defending champions Spain won comfortably in Amsterdam, running in 11 tries in a 69-0 win that still fell 18 points short of matching their best-ever win against the Dutch.

Spain remain in 10th place in the rankings as no rating points were awarded for the victory because of the large points differential between the two countries.
