Four teams from across Africa, Asia/Pacific, the Americas and Europe will contest the Final Qualification Tournament, which takes place in Dubai from 6-18 November, 2022.
Played over three match days, the four teams will face each other in a round-robin format with the team accruing the most competition points securing the 20th and final ticket to France 2023. They will line up in Pool C alongside Wales, Australia, Fiji and Georgia.
Portugal were the first team to book their place in the last-chance tournament, qualifying as the third-highest ranked team from the last two editions of the Rugby Europe Championship.
Os Lobos have since been joined in the line-up by Rugby Africa Cup 2022 runners-up Kenya, Americas 2 play-off losers USA and Asia/Pacific 1 play-off losers Hong Kong.
