NAGOYA, 21 Sep - Georgia have named a squad to take on Wales on Monday night that features 10 Rugby World Cup debutants and is without captain Merab Sharikadze, who is still recovering from injury.

The Pool D match takes place at City of Toyota Stadium and coach Milton Haig has opted for six World Cup newcomers in the starting line-up, including fly-half Tedo Abzhandadze, full-back Soso Matiashvili and winger Miriani Modebadze. The team will be led by loose-head prop Mikheil Nariashvili, pictured above, and includes talismanic giant Mamuka Gorgodze at No.7, who is featuring at his fourth World Cup.

Centre David Kacharava, also notching up four World Cup campaigns in Japan, is joined by second-row and three-time World Cup campaigner Giorgi Nemsadze to round out the team's most experienced players. The youngest player at RWC 2019, Vano Karkadze, was not named in the squad.
