Canada are in pole position after picking up the maximum 10 points from their opening two games with bonus point victories over Kenya (65-19) and Germany (29-10). Hong Kong kept their Rugby World Cup 2019 qualification hopes alive with a 42-17 bonus point win over Kenya on match-day two, following their opening match 26-9 defeat by Germany, leaving them in second place with five points. Both Germany and Kenya are no longer able to qualify for Japan 2019.

In order to reach Rugby World Cup 2019, Hong Kong would need a bonus point win and to prevent Canada getting a bonus point. Any other result would see Canada qualify for Rugby World Cup 2019. Bonus points are awarded to a team scoring four or more tries or losing by seven or less points.

The Repechage tournament is a new and exciting concept for Rugby World Cup qualification and represents the last opportunity for a team to qualify for Japan 2019. The competition sees Hong Kong, Canada, Kenya and Germany competing in a round-robin format being played across three match days.

The repechage winner will enter into Pool B at Rugby World Cup 2019 alongside defending champions New Zealand, South Africa, Italy and Namibia.

Tickets for the final match-day, with access to both games, are priced at €8 and €16 and are available here.
