One week out from the International Rugby Sevens Adelaide, the sixth round of the HSBC Sevens World Series, Australian organisers have thrown fans an intriguing fashion incentive.
Just as race-goers dress up for a day at the Spring Carnival, Rugby Sevens fans famously favour fancy dress across the HSBC Sevens World Series and Adelaide is no different.
For the upcoming tournament, to be played at the beautiful Adelaide Oval on 2-3 April, any fan attending will also have the chance to win a share of the AU$4,000 prize purse in the Adelaide Sevens 'Dress to Impress' competition.
All prospective fans need to do is make themselves unmissable for the official Dress to Impress photographers and strike their best pose for a chance to win.
There are two individual categories – 'Best Dressed Bloke' and 'Best Dressed Gal' – and the daily winner will receive $500. The daily winners of the 'Best Dressed Group' category will receive $1,000.

Tickets for the International Rugby Sevens in Adelaide are still on sale through Ticketek and a two-day pass starts from just $55.
So far this season, Adelaide hosts Australia have reached all four Cup quarter final stages, and registered their best performance in Wellington, New Zealand, where they reached the semi finals.
Leading into the Hong Kong event, New Zealand and England lie joint-top in the HSBC Sevens World Series standings on 80 points, ahead of Samoa and Fiji on 64, South Africa on 56 and the Wallaby Seven on 36.
