Ahead of the USA Sevens in Las Vegas, watch Seven of the best tries from the NZI Sevens in Wellington last weekend, won by Fiji. Includes superb scores by Waisale Serevi's Papua New Guinea, Tonga and five by teams present in Vegas this weekend: Kenya, England, New Zealand, South Africa and Fiji.
1. Kojo Ware, Papua New Guinea v Australia
Waisale Serevi has been in charge of the PNG team for only a few months, but already the signs are there that the Oceania qualifiers have a big future in Sevens. Amazingly this squad was made up of players - mostly converts from rugby league - from only one of 19 provinces in PNG. Imagine what tries they'll score when he's visited the other 18!
2. Charles Mateo, Tonga v England
Two years ago the Tongans reached the Cup semi finals in Wellington. This year they arrived with 11 players totally new to the World Series, and still they impressed. England were mightily lucky to escape with a tight win on day one.

3. Collins Injera, Kenya v USA
Last year's top try-scorer on the Series, Injera is still Kenya's main danger man, and also has a great try celebration. The Kenyans have been so close this year, twice losing 17-14 against New Zealand before Christmas and in NZ relinquishing a 12-0 lead against Samoa to end up 14-12 losers in the Cup quarter. They're likely to produce lots more in Vegas, though, where they will receive massive support from their famous US-based following.
4. Sherwin Stowers, NZ v South Africa
So far this season Stowers is the leading scorer and here he shows just why. When he receives the ball he has only one thought: try line. He may be small of stature but he shows incredible leg strength to escape the clutches of SA captain Mzwandile Stick and then race in against the reigning World Series champions.
5. Ryno Benjamin, South Africa v NZ
In the very same game - a pool stage match of huge intensity - senior Bok Ryno Benjamin latched on to a midfield ball to race in and tie up the score at half time. If Paul Treu's team is to recover from losing a clutch of last year's stars then they are going to need the likes of Benjamin, Brown, Horne and Stick to really step up in Vegas and allow young Cecil Afrika the freedom to express himself.
6. Waisale Beci, Fiji v South Africa
A length of the pitch score! One thing Fiji didn't require was more pace, but they got it.. Beci was drafted in by coach Tanivula after impressing in the home Sevens Series and then at the Suva Rugby Festival and really made his mark, scoring four tries in his first ever international tournament. Add him to the likes of Burotu, Tuwai, Cakau, Ryder, Kolinisau and Vucago and you see why the Fijians have closed the gap on New Zealand to just four points in the Series.
7. Christian Wade, England v Fiji
A former track strinter, Wade has burst onto the Sevens scene this season and scores tries for fun. Here against Fiji in the Cup semi, he gets the ball from Ben Gollings and sets off on a rangy run that ends up taking him in under the posts. Christian Wade - remember the name.
