TOKYO, 11 Oct - Hat-trick hero Josh Adams has recovered from a dead leg and takes his place in a much-changed Wales team to face Uruguay at Kumamoto Stadium on Sunday at 17:15.

Wales coach Warren Gatland has made 13 changes from the starting XV against Fiji on Wednesday for the final match in Pool D. Adams scored three tries in the bruising 29-17 win against the Fijians in Oita but left the field 10 minutes from the end.

Adams, who is equal top scorer at Rugby World Cup 2019 with four tries, and Hadleigh Parkes are the only players to retain their places. Captain Alun Wyn Jones is rested so Justin Tipuric, who wins his 69th cap, will captain the side for the first time.

Player Focus: Justin Tipuric
Justin Tipuric had a stand-out performance for Wales at Rugby World Cup 2019

Five players - Aled Davies, Ryan Elias, Bradley Davies, Adam Beard and Hallam Amos - make their RWC 2019 debuts. This means that Gatland has selected all 31 players in the Wales squad during the pool phase.

Amos, whose most recent appearance was as full-back against Ireland in August, has not played on the left wing for Wales since December 2017, against South Africa.
