A clean sweep of away wins in the three matches played in Europe, Asia and South America led to very little movement in the World Rugby Rankings with the higher-ranked team coming out on top on each occasion.

For Latvia, though, it was a weekend to remember as they signed off their triumphant Rugby Europe Conference 2 North season in style with a 30-13 win against hosts Norway. It was their fourth straight win of the season and left them eight points clear of nearest rivals Denmark at the top of the table.

After a tight first half in which the scores were tied at 13-13, Latvia scored 17 unanswered points after the break to bag the bonus-point win. Full-back Roberts Davidsons contributed 20 points and his two second-half tries were crucial to the outcome.

Latvia remain in 57th position in the rankings but with a slightly improved rating of 43.44. Norway are unchanged in 94th.

Korea claimed their second win in as many weeks against Malaysia in the Asia Rugby Championship 2019, although not by as big as margin after adding a 38-16 win in Kuala Lumpur to their 54-12 win in Incheon.

The gain of almost one rating point wasn't enough to lift Korea from 30th in the rankings as Chile, the side above them, earned a similar ratings gain for their 53-10 win over Paraguay in the final round of the Sudamérica Rugby Six Nations.

The other two matches in the Sudamérica Rugby Six Nations didn't count towards the rankings with Argentina XV overwhelming Brazil 62-0 and the Uruguay XV battling past Colombia 38-24.
