Mikaele Pesamino returns to the Samoan squad for the Emirates Airline Glasgow Sevens this weekend, entering the penultimate round of the Series with the best strike rate amongst the players.
The Samoan flyer has scored 158 tries in 33 tournaments, at an average of 4.8 per round, leaving him as not only the highest try scorer playing in Glasgow, but .1 ahead of another returnee to the Series, Owen B Williams of Wales.
Williams has a strike rate of 4.7, but has only played in three tournaments and scored 14 tries. Samisoni Viriviri of Fiji and New Zealand's Kurt Baker have strike rates of 4.4, although the former has played in nine more tournaments and scored 40 more tries.
With the likes of the current Series leading try scorers Dan Norton, Sean Duke and Cornal Hendricks with strike rates of 3.8, 3.5 and3.7 respectively, the crowd at Scotstoun could be in for a try-fest this weekend.
Collins Injera has also returned to Mike Friday's Kenyan squad having scored 155 tries in 32 matches, for a strike rate of 3.9.
