Goodbye, Toronto

How exhilarating was BMO Field at the weekend? Toronto delivered one of the loudest, most passionate atmospheres of the whole WXV Global Series, as almost 20,000 fans showed up to support their players throughout the contest.

Thanks to Rugby Canada, we have the day well documented, giving fans a taste of how electrifying it all was. With Ottawa next, we can only hope we get to savour another memorable match on the pitch and in the stands.

Another Wallaroo wonderkid takes the stage

A brace of tries, several line breaks, and a pace and speed that outmatched everyone on the pitch, plus a desire to have an impact throughout... welcome to Amelia Whitaker's era.

The 20-year-old wing was pure fire in the loose, consistently eluding Scottish tacklers, leaving a trail of chaos behind her.

With several young, promising talents on the rise, the Wallaroos are set for a new exciting chapter, as Whitaker has already shown.

From the lens of a Black Fern

Grace Brooker, Black Fern number 214, was in the stands watching her fellow teammates make further history by bagging an 81-12 win over France, capturing some of the match's greatest moments through her lens.

She may not have been in the matchday 23 for the first match of the home series against France, but Brooker captured the game's essence and supporting her teammates in a different way, with a camera in her hands and her eyes fixed on the action.

Whether in the stands or on the pitch, the Black Ferns have a unique passion for the game, and Brooker's photography captures that, as the centre documented several moments that will not soon be forgotten.

Wales under the Tokyo lights

Wales set foot in the sleepless, riveting city of Tokyo, where attention has already turned to Chichibunomiya Rugby Stadium, where they will face hosts Japan at the weekend in hopes of getting their WXV Global Series campaigns back on track.

Until then, for those wandering through and exploring the endless streets of one of the world's most sensational cities, we can only say: have fun and enjoy the Tokyo lights.

Welcome home, Telesi Uhatafe

Telesi Uhatafe helped the USA land their fourth win in a row, and it happened in a special place: a stone's throw from utility back's Texas hometown.

After earning her first cap just a few months ago, the USA Women's Eagles number 334 returned to where it all began, with the crowd upping their support every time the 23-year-old made an impact. A special day for a special player who is determined to reach the top.
