WXV Global Series on social media: The break is over!

The WXV Global Series 2026 break is over and we are set for an entertaining weekend, as shown by the social media frenzy among the teams taking the stage.

The WXV Global Series is back after a two-week break, and we are already on the edge of our seats, eagerly awaiting Canada, England, Australia, New Zealand, France, the USA, and Italy taking the stage.

However, there is still time to check out this week's social media highlights before the fun begins, with teams, players, and fans showing their excitement for the weekend ahead!

Welcome to the Canadian Friday night lights

Canada and England will clash once again on Friday, and after a 26-point draw several weeks ago, fans will be looking forward to finding out who comes out stronger in one of the game's biggest rivalries.

However, no one is looking forward to this match more than the Canadian national team, who are fully focused on delivering something spectacular at BMO Field, as shown by their commitment to put out their best performance.

Turn on the Friday night lights; we are about to enjoy a delicious rivalry that seems destined to steal everyone's attention.

The clubs that defined the Azzurre squad

Italy has already set foot in the United States of America, but before they step into the fray to fight for the chance to secure a second win in this WXV Global Series, the Azzurre players shared a bit of their journey, more specifically, the beginning.

From Emma Stevanin to Sara Mannini, they shared the tale of how they found their first club and how vital it was to their development and passion for the game.

Più Bello, Italia!

Bienvenue Les Bleues to the land of the Silver Cloud

A rivalry that started in 1996 and, 30 years later, is still pretty much alive: Black Ferns and Les Bleues. Come Saturday, New Zealand will host France in a three-game series, and expectations will be undoubtedly high for all the right reasons.

To kick off the game, the hosts opened the pre-game festivities with an iconic video from the last time the teams met, featuring the legendary and formidable voice of Édith Piaf to warm up everyone in Hamilton!

Using the illustrious singer-songwriter's words: 'Non, je ne regrette rien', watch one of the best games and series of the year!

Wallaroos on replay mode?

The Wallaroos must be feeling good. After a well-deserved win and rest, they are about to host Scotland and will target another positive result come Saturday, with the Women's Rugby World Cup 2029 hosts ready to tackle the challenge.

And what is the best way to secure another victory for Australia? Honing every skill to its finest detail, as Waiaria Ellis seems determined to do. The young rising superstar will look to wreak havoc with her kicking game, as shown in a slick video on the Wallaroos social media.
