WXV Global Series on social media: From La Cartuja to the Wallaroos drums

With just one week until the WXV Global Series returns, teams have been building anticipation on social media, and here are some of the posts that caught our attention.

Yes, the WXV Global Series is on pause right now, but that doesn't mean we can't share some of the best social media posts from the last week. From Spain's amazing scenes at La Cartuja to the USA Women's Eagles offering a quick language guide for travelling fans, enjoy some of the best social media highlights from the teams filling the WXV Global Series canvas.

It's all about those who come after

The Red Roses depart for North America with a sumptuous win over the Black Ferns, and while everyone's attention is on the upcoming match against Canada, there's still time to check out a special moment between fans and players.

Former England great and legend Rachael Burford surprised Ellie-Mae, a Red Roses and rugby fan who dreamed of walking out with the team. Although the future remains unknowable to most, actions like these have the power to change someone's life and destiny, or at least demonstrate the deep communion that exists among all those involved in the game.

Gracias, Sevilla!

While Las Leonas may not have beaten the Springbok Women, feeling the warmth of the 3,000 fans who made an effort to fill the many rows and columns of Seville's La Cartuja was truly special and profoundly emotional.

Each time Spain threatened to reach the try line, the stands erupted with a deafening roar of excitement, a powerful reminder to the players that they were valued, celebrated, and embraced by their community. A huge 'Gracias' to all who helped to paint an exciting rugby canvas in the South of Spain.

Bang that drum, Wallaroos!

The Wallaroos are now patiently awaiting Scotland to anchor at their shores after having bagged an inspiring win at Hive Stadium just two weeks ago.

After a long year of growth, development, and building, the Wallaroos are edging closer to something bigger, and their post-match celebrations are a testament to how far they have come. The Wallaroos' drums have begun to gain a winning beat... how far can they go from here?

Learn the local idiom and get ready for the 30th

The USA are hosting Italy over the next two weeks, but are already eyeing their match against England, which will take place at New Jersey's Sports Illustrated Stadium.

With the World Champions on the horizon, the USA Women's Eagles have put together a slang guide for those about to walk the streets of Harrison.

From DTS to Djeet, fans better get ready to get involved with the local community, who are already looking forward to meeting their English counterparts!

Touch. Pause. Engange

While the WXV Global Series is enjoying a well-deserved but brief pause, the Springbok Women have delivered a message to tackle breast cancer: Touch. Pause. Engage.

After showing the world the power and potential of their side on the pitch, the Springbok Women now lead the charge off it. 'No women should stand outside the circle'.
