During the July international window, the World Rugby Men's Rankings will update at 23:00 Dublin time (GMT+1) on each match-day, rather than the traditional Monday each week.

World Rugby has published the ranking permutations for the men’s test matches this weekend.

Permutation highlights include:

  • Tonga, Uruguay and Zimbabwe cannot improve their rating with victory over lower-ranked sides
  • The Cook Islands will climb up to nine places to 40th if they can defeat Tonga in the RWC 2023 Asia / Pacific qualifier
  • Tonga can fall up to four places in defeat, depending on the margin and the Uruguay v Brazil result
  • Brazil must win by more than 15 points to improve their position
  • Burkina Faso could climb to a new high of 82nd with victory over Zimbabwe

The full preview can be read via the Match Notes page in the Media Zone.

World Rugby will be managing the communications for any disciplinary matters that arise from the July tests.
