World Rugby is hosting an online media briefing to announce the next steps in trials of a lower legal tackle height in rugby. The announcement follows the positive findings achieved in the community game to date and the decision by World Rugby Executive Board to recommend to Council that the trials be made full community law from July 2026.
The briefing will be on the record and there is no reporting embargo. Translation between English and French will also be available
